Please pray for the full recovery of my mom, Celeste. She had brain surgery to remove a tumor behind her optic nerve on October 9th. She had two strokes during the surgery and has been in a rehabilitation hospital for 8 days, and she'll be in there this whole week too at the least. Praying for much more progress with memory and balance so she can go home soon, and that her eyelid doesn't have any paralysis as she still can't fully open the eye. Also prayers for the fam because it's really exhausting trying to be there for her and make sure she's not going through this alone, and also emotionally hard to see her like this. Very overwhelming few weeks. Thank you!

My son is a student at NAU, and our family (mom, dad and sister) drove up to spend the day with him. Please pray for his safety and well-being. Pray that he is guided by Jesus. Pray that he finds his place at school and community, and that he thrives. Pray that he is surrounded by good people.

Update: Baby JJ, now 3 yrs old, has been awarded shared custody, so he must go to his dad's every other week. All decisions must go through him-he has last say.
Trusting God, for this does not feel like justice.

Please pray for my dad, Rod, who was admitted to Hospice a couple of months ago. Hospice is helping him with comfort care and pain management, which we are all grateful for. The downside of Hospice care is that he is now off of the medication that was slowing the progression of IDP (idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis), and now his lungs are quite rapidly deteriorating (2L of O2 to 7L in two months time). Praise God that my dad is a believer and that He is at peace with the inevitable. Pray that Dad would use the time he has left, whether that be months or years, for God's glory. That he would speak godly wisdom into his grandkids and great grandkids' while he has breath (or the ability to write) to do so. Pray for my sister and me- that our time spent with him would be sweet and helpful to him and our stepmom, Helen. Pray for Helen as she cares for him. We are so thankful for her joyful heart as she cares for our precious dad.
